Hours of Operation in Aruba

While in Aruba, vacationers find it easy to adapt to the long, relaxing hours spent poolside, but they may find it harder to get used to the business hours that the islanders keep.

It is not uncommon for a shop or bank to be closed for an hour mid-day to allow employees a period of relaxation during their lunch break.

Although some establishments in Aruba keep different hours, the following is a list of the standard hours of operation for businesses on the island. Be sure to check with the hotel as these hours may change from business to business, or season to season.

If you need to stop at a bank or the post office, play it safe and plan to do so in the early morning or mid-afternoon to avoid running into closures.  With that tip in mind, you'll be able to maximize your time spent in Aruba.
